I am a registered general psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia (AHPRA). I work with clients ages ranging from 5 years onwards, who are experiencing concerns such as anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, and relationship difficulties. In addition I provide assessment services refer to the services page.
My approach to therapy is evidence-based and client-centred. I draw on approaches such as [CBT, ACT, mindfulness-based approaches, schema therapy, etc.], and tailor therapy to each person’s goals, values, and lived experience. I place strong emphasis on collaboration, emotional safety, and practical strategies that clients can apply in their everyday lives.
I completed my psychology training at James Cook University (2008) and obtained full registration in 2011. I have experience working in private practice, community mental health, schools, or other settings.
I offer appointments under Medicare with a GP Mental Health Treatment Plan, NDIS, as well as private fees and private health insurance rebates where applicable. I am committed to providing ethical, respectful, and culturally responsive care, and aim to create a supportive space where clients feel heard and understood.

I am a registered Clinical Psychologist specialising in the treatment of PTSD and Complex PTSD in adults (18 years and over).
I completed my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at James Cook University in 2014 and hold a Masters degree in Psychology from the University of Hertfordshire (UK). I have undertaken specialist trauma training (by distance) with the Boston Trauma Centre during the period when Dr Bessel Van der Kolk was Medical Director. Dr Van der Kolk is the author of “The Body Keeps the Score” a primary text on PTSD.
My approach is holistic, trauma-informed and integrates eye movement / memory reconsolidation using EMDR, Brainspotting, Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) (Advanced Level / Instructor), and other evidence-based somatic and nervous system regulation approaches. I work primarily with individuals experiencing complex trauma, developmental trauma, and chronic PTSD, including first responder and military presentations. I see clients on a bulk billing basis as well as DVA and Workcover.
I welcome referrals under a Mental Health Treatment Plan and value collaborative care with referring GPs.
